First thank you for stopping by it is a pleasure to meet you. Let me introduce myself my name is Misty Bailey. I have spent the last 20 years working for a large corporation. I had several jobs while I was there but no matter what my actual job title was, I always ended up being the office "Party Planner" or "Moral Coordinator" and that was always my favorite unofficial job title.
I have always loved planning and organizing activities and events. In the office it was super bowl potlucks, regional company picnics or hotel holiday parties. Outside of work well the sky was the limit small birthday parties, large group activities (camping or whitewater rafting) or vacations (rental houses at the beach or the lake). I also do a lot of volunteer work for my community planning of its activities throughout the year. I love making people happy and creating for people makes me happy.
For many years my friends have told me that this was my calling, so in 2022 I decided to make a change in my life to start a new chapter and do what makes me happy, so I created Imperial Etiquette. I am excited for this journey, and I hope to you will join me and be a part of my adventure.
A name can give simple words LIFE. I wanted something that stood out, different but still an empowering name. To me an event is something special, it captures a moment that is outside of the normal day to day activities.
These moments require a certain way to act and dress, an ETIQUETTE, if you will. Some moments are very formal such as a wedding, but others are not so formal, such as a kids’ birthday party, but a decorum or ETIQUETTE is still to be followed.
I know the name does not scream event planning, but I want the name to invoke a different level of thinking when it comes to planning and creating these moments.
My WHY is providing happiness to others and knowing that through my efforts I have the power to give everyone I come in contact with a PERFECT moment, they may not remember me, but they will remember that moment, and I gave them that.
